So I was given a used Nikon D70 body with about 22,300 actuation's on it. I got it for a super good deal from a fellow paintballer.

I was then able to get a 55-200 Nikklor Lense for $75 Brand New (Non use Display model @ Best Buy - Yay Friends)

This is my first DSLR. I have shot some auto mode stuff with other peoples gear, (a 3100, a 5100, a Canon Rebel model that a cannot remember) but never my own. I've always had a good eye for photography, IMO. A few people have told me that as well.





I got the cam out today for my first time shooting with it...

Brooklyn (my red nosed pitbull) was excited as I was with all the clicking and beeping.







I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I will be looking at Video DSLR's after Christmas. I want to stay Nikon. Not for any real particular reason other than that is what I want. Looking @ a 5100.

I plan on dabbling in paintball photography, some @ home putzing around with the doggy and maybe shooting at a bar my friend DJ's at.

Welcome to the world of photography!

I thought I had a good eye for photography too, but then I started taking photographs and listened to actual critique. Turns out that my eye was a lot like film and I had to develop it.
