What is the lightest 68/4500 cf tank? The new Ninja dura?

It would probably be a GA tank. The reg is around half the weight of the Ninja ones, and the bottles are pretty much identical in weight. Although the new Ninja Dura's are probably slightly heavier in weight.

Honestly, you are looking at around an ounce difference. When you fill your tank with air, do you think that you will be able to fill the one ounce difference? Get quality, of which the Ninja is probably the best. With Crossfire and GA being right behind Ninja.

I believe a 68/4500 tank will contain about ~9-10 ounces of compressed air at 4500 psi. So there's not much difference between tanks.

I can't speak right now about the difference. But when YSM Imports basically owned GA, they had the regs made in China, or Taiwan, or wherever they were made overseas. The weren't crap compared to Ninja, but they weren't made in the USA. You can look at threads from a few years back, and find that people were having issues with the Myth regs, but once they came out with the G2, which offered a low side burst disk, and made the original Myth regs with a low side burst disk, the only problems that you heard about with the Myth regs were the ping.

So are what really is the difference in quality? Ninja is made in the USA, GA was made overseas. They both offered a good reg that did what it was supposed to, was easy to change the output pressure, and user serviceable and rebuildable. I can't say what the GA customer service was like when GA was moved from the Chicagoland area to CA, but Ninja has always had incredible customer service.

One thing I would keep in mind with our competitors shorter regs is that they wont screw into every marker out there, such as a luxe. You might save on length or weight but you may want to double check it will screw into yuor markers asa. If you have a fixed asa, the shortness of the reg makes the gauge hit the back of your trigger frame when you screw it in, not allowing it to screw in all the way and allow air to flow into your marker. Just something to keep in mind.
