Hi Everybody,

I am a player from French Guiana and today with some friends, we were talking about the fact we would like to attend the WC 2013.

I would like to know what will be all the expenses so I can make everybody save money so it can be a nice trip:

1- Entry fees
What is exactly Masters RaceTo-4? For newbies what would be the division we should attend? D5?

2- How much are the ID per players?

3- How much usually does a paint case cost at WC?

4- What are you prefered options for accomodation for 6 to 7 person max?

Did I forgot something?

You need to find out how much are the flights to Orlando.
Entry fees depend on division and format you'll be playing check pspevents.com for that info.
Hotels are about 80 a night
Paint depends on what company your representing or what deal they are giving you but to be on the safe side multiply $40 or $45 by 32 cases if your playing race to 2. You most probably going to have money left over for stuff.
Ids are $60
Don't forget food money also or if you need a rental car.
That's all I can think of the top of my head at this moment

32 cases for race to 2??? That's seems high, my team shoots about 20 when playing race to 2.. A good hotel is about 80, you can bum it out in a cheap 40 dollar hotel and put 6 guys easy if you want.

My team shot less than 20 going all the way through finals. 32 is too much.

Although these are for the recent World Cup and not 2013, you can assume entry fees will be relatively close to what you see on that list. I would recommend Race to 2, which is 5-man where you essentially play four matches (best of three games for each match). D4 or D5, your choice. D5 if you have little tournament experience. PSP ID's cost $50 each.

The PSP does a good job of finding housing options before the event. Here is a sample list of what was available last time:

Paint varies depending on your sponsors and other factors. If you go to the event without getting a deal through your local field/store, expect to be paying about $50/case. For general information to research the event, visit pspevents.com and browse their World Cup 2012 section to get a feel for how things work.

To be honest for Cup and some other events it is cheaper to rent a house for the week because you can then cook instead of always eating out etc.

This is true but depends on how many ppl you come with, a rt2 team might not fill a house. I stayed in a house this year and it was definitely worth it but we didn't cook once, the house was filled with a few people from different teams/photographers, basically everyone doing there own thing in small groups.

i guess we shoot more than you guys then. we won d4 rt2 at cup this year and we shot 28 cases total.
