It all depends on how much you shoot. My Ninja 13/3k is perfect for me, since it's really light and small and that fits how I play. However, it only gets maybe 150 shots off a fill. If you use more than that a game, there's a new HPA carbon-fiber coming out that gets 350-400. I believe it's a 21ci 4500 psi. For more info search for new hpa tank perfect for pump under Paintball News.

I used a 45/45 it feels balanced and comfortable to me.

I use my ninja 13/3000 almost exclusively. I have tried a 45/45, but it made my gun too short overall. This will mainly be an issue if you are running tube feed though.

with a 50 round hopper on my superbolt pump, i can get about 2 and a half hopper through before the air gives out.

Okay I'm gonna have to give you a little **** for this. What do you mean "is it worth it"? It's one of the cheapest if not the cheapest tanks, period. So it's really obvious that we would need more information to recommend which tank you buy.

I suppose you need to look at what you have and what style you play. As an example I play scenario games and already owned a 88ci tank and a remote so that is what I do. I am waiting for that new tank to come out, sure that will fit me for all but all day games. BTW in a defend the castle type game a 13ci tank, 150 shots, is not enough, I can go through 3-4 pods in that one rec game. Now playing an all day game without getting air works for me. I am sure the the new tank is going to be great as an on gun option.

I use either a 48/30 GA and 68/45 crossy and both last a long time on air usage

if you normaly use a 68/45 on your normal gun, use it on your pump... if your a shorter player, maybe use a 45/45... but make sure the tank fits you corectly. it will improve shot accurasy and posture wich are both extreamly important in pump. the general rule of thumb is to extend your arm out in front of you with your marker in the hand palms up. and if the tank reaches within 2 inches on the center point of your inner elbow, your golden.

Good advice, but depending on the pump you can change that. For example, on my Trracer I use a 13ci Ninja. Just pumping it, without a foregrip, that's way too short. However, when I put my foregrip on and adjust it properly, it fits perfect. So it depends on what gun you have.
