The Spartan Ops are supposed to fill in a lot of holes in the campaign, which is good, because I had no idea what the **** was happening at times.

Left bumper, hence the name "bumper jumper." It just allows you to jump without having to take your thumb off of the right thumbstick, allowing you to aim and jump at the same time.

looks like I am going to have to settle with recon. wish i could make LB sprint.
got some serious games in tonight. averaging 20 kills a game 11 deaths. I seemed to do a ton better with the AR than with the rifles.
Flood-which is like the new zombs/infected mode is alright. it is a lot more balanced, even if the flood get a huuuuge lunge/sprint
The incineration cannon is pretty badass.

Anyone else absolutely LOVING the pistol? I roll with a DMR, but I never even touch it. 4 quick shots from a pistol and then a melee is all it takes to kill someone, and only 6-7 from a distance. The trick is that the mag only holds 8, so you hardly get to much for spare shots. But with Dexterity, you have a new mag in and can already be dumping more shots into someone who is still reloading their rifle.
Shooting kids off ghosts from across the map with it is hilarious, and I makes games of Regicide ridiculously easy. I'm so happy they finally got it right.
*EDIT* Needler also deserves some attention, because it is PERFECT in this game. I feel I run out of ammo with it much faster, but I think that's the best way to keep it under control, because otherwise it is AWESOME.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm running through the campaign again on Legendary and the Needler has become my best friend when it comes to taking out Elites or Knights.
On a side note, I've found that if you don't have a DMR/BR/LR/Carbine during most of the campaign on Legendary, you're gonna have a bad time.

Haven't tackled it on legendary yet. Heroic has even gotten me to rage a little. I find you run out of UNSC weapon ammo quite fast though. You're better off getting good at using promethean guns and whatever needlers and plasma pistols that are laying around.
Also, just went 29-15 with a pistol on Ragnorak. Lawl.

pistol is pretty beastly. I was long range shooting people with it all last night. I had some vision where I could see the oppossing team, and they were highlighted with icons over there heads, very easy to spot. so i just sat across maps and picked them off with the pistol

This game seems a lot more balanced than others. I think the DMR needs more bloom though, because it is WAY too easy to use. Not as much bloom as Reach's DMR, but still more. BR could use a bit more spread too, but overall it's fine.
Incineration cannon is sooo cheap, but I guess thats why they have one shot per mag. Do rockets seem more powerful to anyone, too?

The splash damage feels like it's is back to about what it was in Halo 1 or 2.

If a few perks were removed and the grenades a tad but more powerful, then the game would be perfect.
In essence, a halo 2 esque style multiplayer.

Some weapons need to be just ever-so-tweaked, but I agree. Very close to perfection

**** adding more DMR bloom. 343 got it right. It's absolutely perfect the way it is. I hated the DMR in Reach but it's basically all I use in 4.

Your the typical doucher, that's the only 2 downfalls to Halo.
Grenades being too OP and getting too many of them
But I do agree with the perks. This isn't call of Duty or Battlefield. They need to take that **** back to Halo 2 style. I feel everything is pretty balanced in Halo 4, besides the Saw but it's badass. Oh **** the Mantis to

That is the problem. Its basically all everyone ever uses in 4. That alone should tell you something.
That stupid glitch on complex is pissing me off. If anyone gets an oddball in there or last man standing in flood in there, its game over. Waaaay too cheap.

Grenade strength, in my opinion, is one of the most important aspects of the game. Well placed grenades allow for a player to easily achieve multi-kills and truly differentiates an average player from a good one. Now when I throw grenades, even a perfectly timed one will only do a miniscule amount of damage.
No ones advocating a larger abundance of grenades, but as of right now the game seems stuck in a ''whoever shoots first wins'' style format, which isn't halo.

I feel like this is what halo has always been... thus the reason why teamwork is so critical. It's about teaming up to take down people faster.
As for the pistol, yeah it's good, but why would anyone opt for the pistol over a DMR or BR? 4 shots > 4 shots + melee.

Those are the four guns I most enjoy using by far. Covenant Carbine and DMR are my ideal 2 guns to have for a length of time, though I would swap the DMR for a shotgun if ammo wasn't an issue.

Anyone else wish they use maps from Halo:Combat Evolved? I would love to play that space ship map with the portals, the indoor training facility or even sidewinder.
