What's a good firing speed for a stock G4?
I was playing this past Sunday and I crono my G4 at 270-280 fps.
During play however some other players could reach me from far while I was not able to reach them even with lobbing the balls.
Are they running higher FPS speed?
Should I go to 300fps or that's too much?

it depends on what your fields rules are. most of them are in the 270-280 range so your fine there.
Never exceed 300fps!

as for the other players: they were probably lobbing the ball like you were trying to do. it sounds like your new to the game and if you are you will learn quickly and figure out that long balling hardly ever works. by the time the ball reaches the target its going really slow and has a smaller chance of breaking than if you would just try and get a closer shot.

try a new barrel or techt bolt. You might get a little bit more range.

Just shoot your field limit and never higher. That'll maximize your range. The physics are the same for everyone.

were these players using a apex or flatline barrel? those are pretty much the only 2 options on how to shoot further without raising the fps, i know over the years it always seems like the other people can shoot alot further, trying to long ball is a waste of paint.
