Yeah, even if it's 'Bama. I think their offense would name the score against Oregon, and their defense would stop the rushing attack and do enough against Oregon's short passing game to win. Against ND, I think they would just slowly plow down the field and have our defense exhausted by the fourth quarter.
And as far as who is most deserving, a one loss SEC team should always get the benefit of the doubt when in an argument against undefeated teams from weaker conferences. At the beginning of the season I would have said that our schedule gives us an even footing with SEC teams when looking at who is most deserving, but Michigan and MSU aren't nearly as good as we thought and other than that our only two good wins are Stanford and OU.
Oregon's only good win so far is USC, and they gave up 50 points in that game. They can potentially add 2 more in Stanford and Oregon State, but Oregon State isn't as good as we thought either.
Compare that to an SEC champion where either Alabama or UGA will have a victory over one or the other, plus the SEC regular season schedule, which is much more difficult than anything that ND or Oregon will have to do this year.
