Ok, I didn't say everyone on here was spoiled (although I was right about most having speedball guns) I said some of you guys were spoiled, if you work for your gear then good for you.

Been playing for 8 years. Only thing I've ever gotten was a case of paint for X-mas. I started with a tippmann 98 custom and co2 tanks. 8 years later I'm shooting PE and Bob Long. It just takes time to upgrade over time and earn respect on nation and the field.

Thank you! I've had to finagle all of my gear used every way I can. I earned all of my gear! Then some ten year old walks onto the field with a shiny, brand new $500 gun, gets hit once, and quits.
I think everyone should have to work hard to get their gear. They'll appreciate it more.

Ironically, I thought when I posted originally that I would start a huge war but I'm glad that us guys are in agreement here. One kid I know at my field (who obviously doesn't buy his own gear) sold an invert mini for $45!!!!

So true. I hate kids who walk onto fields with geos and egos. Everyone should have to work for their gear just like you and me. People can't understand that it's not the marker that makes the player.

If someone offered me a Mini for $45 I'd go nuts.
I started with a Spyder SE off the 'nation, bought an Evil Pimp that broke in a day (Spent $50 on a new board and help with repairs, still waiting for it to get back) and have been using a Bob Long Timmy 2k6 that I'm hoping to resell for a friend.

Week or two ago I saw a group of kids looking to join the HRL (Houston Rookies) and they had Eteks 3's, and they were throwing paint away. It made me cry a bit inside.

Very nice Gravity Hopper (until I BUY myself a rotor)

guess what im 13 have worked for about a year also have to help my family. I shoot a g6r with a rotor and have all my gear that I payed for. Thanks for being another jealous person to add to the list in this thread /RANT
