played this a little tonight at a friends. Was impressed with the campaign. Only got in a game for multiplayer. I like the sprint idea, but I hate that the crouch button was the B button. Any way to crouch with the left stick?

I crouch a lot...not just sitting in a corner or anything. Like when i jump and other things...Cant do it really anymore now that I gotta hit the B for it

You guys know you can change the controls right? They have like 6 different presets to choose from.


My main gripe about the controls (and I don't remember if this is changeable through the different presets, I don't think it is) is that the grenade switch is the d-pad. I don't like having to take my thumb off of the stick just to change what kind of grenade i want.

Also, the SAW is ridiculously overpowered.

like i said...I played one game of online at a buddies house tonight. I just went with whatever the presets were.

getting drunk on saturday and pry will be playing alot that night, so I will have to take a glance at the other controls.

I doubt you can switch the crouch button to the left stick though. its pry like cod, where no matter what, clicking the left stick makes you sprint, but not 100% for halo

edit: now that I think of it, maybe you can go halo reach controls, where LB could be used for sprinting

After a while they don't care and stop searching for modded xboxes. Besides, they only do mass raids when big titles come out, for example I lost 3 xboxes when Halo 3 came out. You just have to wait a couple months after they made all of their major sales.

he's gotta be lying/trolling. nobody uses a modded xbox to save money while buying 6 xboxes in the process..unless they're stolen, of course.

I use bumper jumper and my left stick is crouch. A is sprint and B is reload/swap weapons.

what is the jump button then for bumper jumper? I like my classic halo controls...there has to be a reach control type out there where LB is sprint and the A button is jump and left stick is crouch

There's Recon where RS is crouch, LB is Armor, X is sprint, RB is reload.

It's basically Halo 3 controls with sprint on the x

Personally I'm digging Fishsticks. It's basically COD controls, which really cut down on the accidental grenade throws.

You guys both know that second hand 360's are stupid cheap right? Or you know.. If you buy them broken and repair them they can be had for like $15 dollars.

I literally have like 15 360's sitting in my room back at my parents house from when I was into modding. It's not that unbelievable.

Can't say I'm complaining about that! I do have to say after playing it through that I really enjoyed it and I hope they integrate the other Spartans more in the next one.
