Recomendations?
I am holding a tournament on the 17th of Nov and one on the 15th of Dec. I was wondering what some low cost awards would be desired by paintballers? I would appricieate advise.

Some leagues just use trophies.
Maybe cash prizes.
Or even field credit.(depends if local ballers or if they will be from around the area or not)

I ran a few fun tourneys and gave out dollar store trinkets as prizes.
They are fun and help promote a fun day of play rather than a win at all costs type of atmosphere.
The players still played hard but it was all in good spirit and there were very very few issues during the games!

Everybody likes "free" stuff. Especially if it's a little personalized. If you hand out prizes, consider throwing in a printed certificate with hand-written names on it.

Well if you're going to charge more then 200.00 for team entry fee, then, you might not want "cheap" prizes if you want alot of teams to enter.

I like the field credit idea... but then again I don't play tourney-ball anymore.

as a tourney player, about the only way I would play a tourney with a weak prize package is if it was for a cause. Breast Cancer research, Childrens hospital, Wounded Warrior Project....ect...and having organized a few of those events, paintball companies like to be associated with them, and we had guns and gear donated for our prize packages.
a prize package should directly reflect the cost to play. why are teams paying you an inflated amount to use your field for no reason other than a competition for bragging rights? many players will, however, play for a good cause. speedballers arent as bad as the stereotypes you see here in the Rec forum

Try something like a case of paint.
Or, if you can, maybe some kind of custom hydro dipping or anodizing.
