What happened to people doing spring bolt mods?
I wanted to read up on this and maybe try it if people thinks it does something. Looked threw 50 pages in the dye section and found nothing. Did all the posts on this disappear?????
Anyone with some info on the spring mod for the dm7 or dm10 bolts? How they are supposed to work and where to get one????
Any help is much appreciated!!!!!

You could get an eigenring from Lurker and it would be just as good, if not better than the spring mod.

try pming pooty51 I believe his user is.. he does all the spring mods for all the guns (although I believe it's nearly impossible to spring mod a dm bolt and it's really not needed?)

Thanks. Ill try him. But what happened?? It was everywhere a while back and now just gone. It's weird. It seems like it was a fad. And now everyone is on the Eigen ring fad. It upsets me I never got the chance to try it out lol.

Pooty says he's got no springs. Never had them not sold them. Really did this really drop off the face of the earth? Haha

I think that you're thinking of the luxe spring mod. They're really popular and can be seen all over the place, so maybe you just got mixed up. I believe the 2.0 cores now come stock with springs in them.

Nope. People did the springs with a lot of dm7s. I found a little post about it but no where to buy one or get one

You already have to increase the LPR to push the bolt back into the marker and open up the breach, why add more forward pressure?

These are two completly different concepts. One is not better than the other because they serve 2 different functions.

Yep.
Putting a spring behind the bolt would allow you to reduce your dwell time since the bolt would travel forward faster, but you would have to raise your LPR pressure to allow it to return properly. It's going to be harder on paint and is the opposite of how most people tune their Matrix.
Just because something works in a Shocker doesn't mean it will do the same in a Matrix, the bolt assembly is laid out differently and the Shocker doesn't use an LPR.
And if this was ever a big thing I must have missed it.
