I apologize if this has been covered somewhere, but I could not find a thread on this topic:

I know the magno valve was designed to work in tandem with the lightened ram for maximum effect, but is there any danger/ major problem with using the valve with the original ram in the A1?

I found a magno valve online, but am having the hardest time trying to get hold of a magno or STR ram, even on the secondary market.

It shouldn't cause much problem, but if you want and updated hammer for your ram, just give me a PM, I should be able to help you out.

That way you can use your current working ram, and have the lighter hammer. Basically the same as a magno/STR.

The Magno/D-Lite valve will work with the pre-Magno rams. You can compensate for the additional hammer weight by reducing your LPR pressure if need be. Swapping hammers would also work.
