HPA on my Sniper pump
Is it necessary to put a hpr reg on my cocker pump or can I run a gas through grip?

i guess it all depends if the internals were meant to handle 800 psi of pressure or not.

It's got a shocktech rat valve in it.

your going to have issue operating at 800 psi, going to be very hard for you to open your valve

If you run SLP on the tank reg, or even LP on your tank reg, you can run it straight up without an HPR.
That depends on the other internals as well, although to my knowledge, the RAT valve makes your gun run at high enough a pressure to the point that you can use an LP output tank without a problem.
