Question CO2 + Remote + Macro = A Safe Idea?

So, I just got my minimag, and I absolutely love it (no more 'cockers for me!).
Problem is, I just ran out of HPA, and I have absolutely no way to get it any time soon.

So, I was wondering if running it on CO2 would be an alright idea if I used a remote line.
(It has macroline, which is the only reason I'm really concerned.)

I have a remote line setup for running co2 at home when I dont wanna run and fill a HPA. the on off at the top of the tank has a expansion chamber butted up beside it via a 1 1/2 inch threaded pipe. that way the co2 has a chance to expand even before it gets to the line.

I used to run co2 directly on my mag in a very smart/ugly setup that was really comfy to hold but something you dont want to look at

PS still willing to trade a polished body for your minimag one

Okay. Yes that is totally safe just I have been doing it for years. Now if it is a completely stock minimag then yes you are definintly fine just make sure you follow the basic procedures of keeping liquid CO2 out, you know the usual.

Just make sure you do not have some form of an X-valve when doing this. Which you probably dont. As long as it is not a black valve then your good

So, I can run CO2, despite my macroline?

Yep, you'll be fine, back in the day we would run Co2 in Micro-line with no issues.

Like what was already said, try to keep it out of the valve.

I run most of my classic mags on co2. A foregrip or an expansion chamber are all you need to keep it running smooth.

I second this although I have steel braided line on mine with the the air running through the foregrip. I only have the level 7 and i think ive only chopped one ball ever.
