I don't do much legs.

Actually I don't do much anything anymore. I need to get back on that **** before I start losing more muscle mass and gaining more weight

leg press has its place

it's not a squat replacement though, not even close.

Leg press makes me feel better about myself. Since it's the only one I can do over 400lbs. I'm going to go with the classic 5x5 routine I think for this bulk.

I don't mean to suggest it has no benefit. I guess I should rephrase to any statement like "I can leg press xxxx" is bull**** in that it has no meaning. With the differences in the machine setups, the inherent mechanical advantage in most of the machines, and the number of the people that don't use a full ROM, its completely useless to compare numbers. Numbers are really only useful as a bench mark when you're talking free weights.

I was surprised when I weighed myself this morning, 175. I think I ended my last bulk around 205?

I started losing weight again, I'm 152, hopefully I'll bulk up a little in a few weeks.

there's a lot of people that don't even use free weights correctly, especially squatting...

true. but usually when someone says they are 6'1' 135 and squat 365 you have a pretty good idea of their credibility.

I hate it. It puts a lot of pressure on my knees and lower back for not that much gain. I like squats, split squats, and v-squat if I have one.

u serious, bro? I've been lifting before it was cool to ask "do you even lift."

Still do upper body, but haven't really done any squats or deads in a long time. Last good lift was 415 on the bench about a month and a half ago. Did 395x2 and hurt my pec just a little and then did the 415 and hurt it just a little more. Does not hurt at all day to day, but have gone in about 3 times since, the last being almost a full month ago now, and can tell it has not fully healed. Tried giving it 2 weeks, then 3 weeks. Was supposed to try back last week, but could hardly walk so skipped it.
