Fiscal Cliff
It will be very hard for them so close the gap on this one as things will only become more divided.
DOW is currently down 350 ( or more) points....

What, republicans are already stonewalling and practicing their singing of "No" in angelic chorus?

if the budget plan includes social programs that aren't in line with conservative talking points then i hope they stonewall it. That's why they were put in to freakin office.
This is why we have two parties. You're not supposed to threaten the US economy to push an agenda.

it's 0 compromise from both sides....and obama isn't helping the matter at all. He's a horrible.....HORRIBLE leader.
Clinton hardly had this problem because guess what....he was a good leader and listened to people and was able to play the game. Obama sucks at playing the game, he's too headstrong.

So with 0 compromise from both sides it's still Obama's fault? How faulty is that logic?
I like that you mentioned Clinton, he couldn't be any more in this campaign between the two of them.

WOW
because he's the freakin leader of the free world.....as the leader it's his freakin job to bring both sides together. Do you really not get it?
This is exactly why you don't want an extreme left or right guy as president...it NEVER works. It just divides the country because nothing can get done in congress because you don't have a leader willing to bring them together on issues.

The fact that you do not see how stupid your last sentence makes you sound is mind boggling. What about the norquist pledge then? Total stonewalling that leaves NO room for any kind of compromise. Re Clinton. Please, how old were you when he was in office? The Republicans in the 90's did everything they could to can this guy out of office. However they didn't have the tea party dingbats to contend with and at least compromised when neccessary.

so the democrats aren't approving anything in the senate and the republicans aren't approving anything in the house....4 years and the senate hasn't approved a budget and they had a super majority for 2 of them....WOW, just WOW!
Sounds like a two way street doesn't it? This gets us back to poor leadership. Someone needs to step up and bring the two sides together. They're not just going to just do it themselves, I think we all know that.
Usually you're leader is the highest dude on the org chart....that would be Obama. Problem is Obama sucks *** at playing the game in Washington.

Strong leadership. Gridlock on both side's? Would Obama using a Signing Statement be a way to get around the legislature ? Would it be legal to do so if it were possible? Just some thoughts

I really do believe this will be addressed this time around. Repubs only agreed to kick the can to this point b/c they thought they would have blown dems out of the water next.
The tea party's power is greatly diminished, and that bogus paper about not raising taxes is going to go away.

Seems like more of a solution than a problem; to me.
