Why would the government bother committing voter fraud if all the politicians are "puppets"?

I was unaware that those people choosing to be successful was dependent on the Republicans. Strange how so many Asian immigrants to this country are successful, yet there are somehow clamps on people who aren't white.

This seems pandering to say because I know you know it already, but it may be easy for you to move and try again - but for people who grew up in lesser circumstances it is far more difficult. Also, please be more stereotypical. The majority of black americans don't "do crack, sell crack and bank on basketball for a career".
I did not blame Republicans for anything but abandoning the economically disadvantaged. People choose to do drugs. It's not your fault, it's not mine. People choose to commit crimes. People abandon their children. Nobody could reasonably blame Republicans for the choices of others.
BUT, I want you to explain to me how it will make us more competitive by just allowing **** like that to continue. Incarceration simply institutionalizes the problem. Cutting funding for after school programs exacerbates poor choices early on, leading to issues later. Cutting food stamps makes people desperate and more likely to commit crime.
Explain to me how your position is going to make America a stronger nation.

They don't? Then how is anyone holding them down? You were around when the country, a predominately white country, elected a black president, correct? And yet fools like Gonzo think racial hatred is at an all time high, and he blames whites for all of it. A little more independent thinking and replies from you I would expect, especially when utter bull**** comments like that are made, since I think you know better.

Sounded like that indirectly, but ok.

Ok well the incarceration rates are rather high, and it does waste tax money. A lot of the problem with so many incarcerations you have (I believe, correct me if I am wrong) is the abundance of people in jail for drugs. Fair statement, I would be open to agreeing with that for a few drugs. I also think we have illegal aliens in our jail system that do not belong in there. They should be put on a carrier, and dropped off at the Yucatan Peninsula.
Cutting food stamps and funding for certain things? Well, we do have a debt problem. We need to cut funding and spending in multiple areas, and entitlement programs are one of them. Saw a guy three days ago try to buy beer with an EBT card at a store, but the store did not accept the cards in their machine. Beer is that important?
Those people need to be OFF welfare, stamps, and out working. Not sitting at home playing Halo 4 while they mooch off working people. And you know for a fact that some of those people are out there. Cutting some spending and encouraging more people to go out and find work - who can work - is smarter. People becoming dependent off government is partially responsible to what killed places like Detroit and parts of California.
Don't confuse the loathe of religion on the right with the entire right being terrible. We have both agreed on that many times.

So, you believe we have sentient voting machines capable of swaying the course of this election?

Sounds to me like we have cultural issues. The woes will not be solved by government. If we can't enforce a healthy ethos on each other (peer pressure/cultural norms), express it through the arts and entertainment, no amount of legislation is going to save us. Legislation will prolong the inevitable. But let's be pragmatic here.

I notice you quickly stopped participating in that thread after I basically stood on top of your chest and began ripping large chunks of flesh from your body.
Do this forum a favor - go there, or here, and admit you either
A) didn't read the link like you should have before replying
B) Are a dope
C) Both A and B
and I'll gladly reply to this retarded troll comment s well.
It's amusing how badly you want to be cool like Treghc and Umami, the "intellectual" liberals of this forum, because you are severely lacking in comparison to them. You're FreeEnterprise with slightly more favorable buy/sell feedback, that's all.

I didn't really see much to say (as I really didn't say much of anything). What would you like me to respond to?
You do realize that my "but it's fair and balanced" was in response to "I also over heard them <Fox> one morning blaming all the deaths from Sandy on Obama."

Firstly, I'm perfectly fine with my place in this forum. Politics in not my thing and I don't pretend to be the best around here. I truly am here to learn from the "intellectual liberals".*
Secondly, I truly am confused as to why you are so mad at me. And, come on, FE? If you going to insult me, then at least be realistic.

Also, as I have said before, I am not a liberal (and neither is martian). Seeing the intellectual dishonestly of the right doesn't make you left.

Uhh... If you challenge a 'conservative' viewpoint, you're a liberal. I thought you knew this. Then again, maybe you're not old enough to get it. You should consult OB. I'll lend you my furry suit so you can communicate with his kind.

I don't disagree that there is a small amount of abuse within the system - but how does a funding cut differentiate between people who legitimately need help and those who "sit at home and play Halo 4 all day"?

I would agree that the government alone cannot solve the problem. But, if done correctly, I believe it can help provide people with the tools needed to solve the problem. Better funding for education programs would be a good start.

I think you need what I described in place first. Otherwise people won't make good use of the resources available to them.
