Anyone used this bolt? I've searched and can't find any reviews. I'm not really expecting much in the way of gains. But the stock bolt in my Dye reflex is a PITA to get in and out. For some reason it doesn't turn easily, and it is a bit marked up from previous owner using pliers. I'm hoping this one would be easier...and I like the idea of it being delrin. Also is it venturi style or open faced? Any feedback or product experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I believe Its Venturi and you won't see any performance difference.

You can make the stock bolt easier to remove by looking at the steel pin and sanding down the spots where it's getting stuck in the back block

I didn't really expect any performance increase. I'll give sanding the pin a try. I might just pick one of these up anyways. The marks on the stock bolt from previous owner kinda bug me. Thanks for the response.

Fix the stock bolt, it's worth it. I've had to do a few over the course of my collection.

Bringing this back. I bought this bolt. The pin is in the wrong position. So If I twist it to lock the bolt in place the detent slot and ball bearing are in the wrong positions. If I line up the bearing and detent slot, the locking pin is in position for the bolt to come right out of the back block. I looked at one for sale on Ebay and it is exactly like mine. So are they all defective? Or is it just a bad batch that SM has released accidentally? I feel like it should be held in place by more than the bearing...If that was the intention why put the pin in at all? Anyone else have this problem or have this bolt and can shed some light on my situation?

I did end up taking your guys advice btw and sanding the pin on the stock bolt. Now it's easy to remove/install. I bought this because the stock bolt is marred up from the previous owner using pliers, and it was bugging be.

A lot of previous Reflex owners did that because they had no brains. Unfortunately, it's something nearly all of us have to live with.

Yeah. I'm going to see what I can do to machine off the plier marks cleanly. And probably just return this bolt to SM or sell it to a superbolt owner. Are you positive it will fit a superbolt back block properly? I'd hate to sell something that doesn't fit properly... but I won't use it for fear of it flying out and hitting me in the face. That or destroying my detent because the slot doesn't line up... Thanks again for the response castro.

I wish I could say 100% right now, but I don't have any Superbolt bolts or back blocks on me. Once I get home I may remember to look.

Have you tried shaking down Sanchez about it?

I sent an Email. But they were very slow responding when I ordered the bolt. So I'm not expecting a response anytime soon. I'll give their shop a call tomorrow morning and see what they will do for me.

The Sanchez Machine Bolt is the same as a Psychoballistics Superbolt, bolt. looking at mine right now.

Sounds like that bolt is made for Dye's other cocker. Ultralight, had its bolt pin 90* off that of the Reflex.

Funny, I thought I remembered my Ultralite and Reflex bolts being identical.

This is correct. I just bought a dye 2k2 cocker, and the pin is the opposite of my reflex. So this bolt will work with regular dye autocockers but not with the reflex.

But I contacted Sanchez Machine. They had me send the bolt back to them and told me they would fix it to work in my reflex. This was on 10/18... I haven't heard back from them again, and they aren't responding to Emails Hopefully I'll get it back at some point...

Edit: Got an Email today stating they received the bolt and are working on fixing it for me.
