Who wants to see Pump events in Indiana?

I'm trying to get as many people on board with the idea of a pump league or more pump events in the state of Indiana but need all your help! Post ideas and thoughts on this. Tournament YES, big games/scenario NO.

I see that many players at my local fields are picking up pumps and looking to play tourneys. There always seems to be a good amount of talk of starting up a pump team for NPPL/PSP Chicago events.

As for big games and scenarios, I say no do to the fact that it really isn't difficult to keep up. I play about half the big games with a modified stock class phantom and do just fine. This goes for magfed only games as well.

I would start playing pump again. Seems like the pump scene has died down in the area.

It would be cool to get some pump stuff going.

I talk to Chris the owner of Paintball Indiana today about PI hosting a series. I'll keep everyone updated on my progress.

You do know you can have tournaments in the woods don't you? Kinda how tournaments started....
I'll talk with Chris about an airball pump series and see what we can come up with. We're starting to get more pumpers at the field so it may be something that would appeal to more players.
Would 3 man be more reasonable since you need less people to start a team?

I was thinking 3 man teams. I had a blast at the field today shooting the pump! I even saw 3 others playing pump as well. People got the fever!

I wanna get a list of people so we could all get together or at least know when a pump game will be taking place and how many people will be coming. Subscribe to my thread and let's get this going. If there's already a thread for this please let me know.

Hey I just checked it out. I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore pump player. It's more of a pass time hobby when I'm not Laneing the air ball field. I'm also really trying to push every aspect of paintball in the state of Indiana so there's something for everyone. I do have a Facebook page which you can find the link for on the first post. It's dedicated to all pump players of Indiana. I'm glad our voices are being heard though! It seems like a lot of people are interested in playing pump again or for the first time. Now if we could just get the fields on board with it.

I think the fields would be all for it as long as the players are there. Remember the saying "if we build it they will come"? Well they being us, if we bring it, they will build it.

Paintball Valley has plans to host at least one Old School Pump Tourney summer 2013. I'm liking the interest...we may have to put together a few Pump-Only Days this winter, too.
