I would love a box mag for my mrx. Wish I did wait cuz I just purchased my mrx a couple weeks ago and now they are coming out with the mr5 etrigger with better mags. I call kingman to ask about a box mag and they nope but they are making a high cap mag but it's only going to be 15 or so paintballs. Has anyone had any luck in making there own box mag????? Does anyone even think its possible?????

I have seen someone who used a forced feed hopper like the halo and mounted it inside a box mag an just had a tube going up into the hopper feed, but that is a little much for something that is already mag compliment, only hope would to be to sacrifice a magazine and cut the bottom off and somehow feed the balls through the mag from inside the box
latest update, i can only get a round or two in (maybe two hoppers) before the gun just stops recocking and i have to pull the hammer back each shot, i have to do a complete breakdown, cleaning and lubrication before it starts working and then it does the same thing.... this gun is sweet but so far not so reliable, im hoping its just the co2 im using, i bought a hpa, well see if its better with that.
further update, took it out to Santa Clara Paintball with my Fenix, the fenix stopped working 1st game out so i switched to the MRX but this time instead of using my Halo Too i used the basic empire loader, the cheap one, and it worked fantastic, i only had to shake the gun maybe twice to clear feedneck jams, otherwise the gun handled super well. Only changes since last use is copious amounts of gun oil in both the striker bolt as well this time i put some gun oil on the actual bolt where the O-rings are since ive been noticing some wear in the gun from the bolt.
The gun ran great over over 10 games back to back on the 6 hours we were there. This time out i had a new HPA 48/4500 tank that i got for the fenix but ended up using and i would say i could get at least 3-4 full hoppers full for each tank fill. but i filled every 2-3 games.
Im really liking the gun now that its working and im most likely gonna sell my Fenix and pickup the E-grip for the MRX. If anything i might try to slowley convert to First Strike capability as well by doing the bolt/mag/barrel conversion from the MR5
