Many issues could be the cause..
9/10 Times is is the battery.. sp1s are waaaaaaay too picky about power source.. many people(myself included) have had to use multiple brand new brand name batteries in order to fucntion the marker properly.. even if you tried three, four or five..sometimes its number six that makes it sing the way should.
other issues...
turn the reg pressure down and slowly work your way up..have a chrono handy if you can as you dont want to blow the noid.. slowly raise pressure untill the correct level is reached.
reg seat is /could be missing..the reg seat ia a little rubber nub that fits in the reg,if that is damaged or missing it can cause leakes..
bolt can be out of tolerence..if the bolt is slightly screwed up (unable to be detected at simple glance) it wont sit 100% and cause leak.
orings..sometimes orings get a tiny knick in em,shrink a little ect or are simply just the wrong orings.. that will cause a leak..
make sure your marker is set up properly fpr the air source you are using.. (there is a co2 setting and hpa setting.. not beibg properly set may effect the proper pressureasation whe attaching an air source causing bolt not to set properly.
make sure the noid housing itself did not crack on install. they have very thin and cheap plastic walls that get hairline cracks VERY easily and they are usually damn hard to see.. ma
make sure the oring for the noid is installed properly.
make sure the little rubber disk (diaphram) inside the noid is installed properly..
all these can cause leakes..
