no idea, like i said in the other thread i was told to ask the owners. so if the winter practices would happen it will be outside. dont feel like playing in the snow

The weekly cleanup/heating is cost prohibitive and a big reason is no summer support. Once the other fields open in April/may speedball attendance drops considerably... it is a good facility they spent a lot of money getting the best equipment etc and hell if we get 20 on a Sunday in the summer it is amazing... no one wants to come visit us its a double sided blade really... I guess we shall wait and see and hope for the best.

I was planning on going to Warzone for the first time today. I checked PBnation before I was going to leave and find this out. Instead I went to CRU up in Flint and loved it. Well worth the drive for me. I just dont see myself going to Warzone even when they open. Then again who knows.

A # of reasons, field upkeep, turf, grow our area, don't have to wakeup 2 hrs earlier on sunday don't have to be stuck in a car with a bunch of other stankass mofos for 2 hrs support your local field... more than once I've been told "if real #'s show we'd be able to do better pricing" etc plus... my fat sexy *** is there. Your loss we had a good turnout and much fun was had. This is alas the reason why it is not opening this year. Guys trust me me and Cody have argued against this. They have the only defense they need "if they don't come we can't justify it" and they are right.

I'm sorry but it is to late for warzone now. This is the final nail in the coffin
Players are gone to play where you get a good deal and continue playing there... Not if we get 30 plus here every sunday then we will drop the price.
Toledo/SE Mich players will drive to either CRU or Plex now and just car pool to save on gas. |
