Am I able to use thread seal tape on the threads for a macroline fitting on the regulator of my gun? I know a lot of people suggest using loctite, but I don't have any at my house but I do have thread tape. And would there be any downsides to using tape?

On the spool for the tape it says:

Ptfe thread seal tape
Mil spec T-27730A
1/2" x 520"

It's a red colored spool, white colored tape.

You can use it on the macroline fitting. Just apply the tape properly as in don't have threads hanging off over the air passage that could break off and get into your regulator. Keep it contained to your threads and you should be more then alright.
