If you're so concerned, don't you think you should/would be able to point out specifically what it is that drove this debt and why it's so bad? Don't you think it's important, as a debater, to be able to support your positions with concrete evidence and facts?

What an absurd assertion. If Mitt was buying prostitutes and hunting them, can I not have a say because I don't have a horse in that race either (because I am in fact not a prostitute)? You don't have to pay taxes to understand that someone making millions of dollars shouldn't pay a lower percentage than someone making 10s of thousands. It's either morally right or wrong. My taxes have nothing to do with it.

Can you agree that we shouldn't be mad at the man but we should be mad at the system? Everyone is Romney this and Romney that. The system allows that to happen. I'm not sticking up for him, I'm just saying there is something else to blame.
^agreed, mitt romney is no dolt and i wouldnt pay more than i owed either.
that being said, the problem i have with him is that he thinks the amount he pays is reasonable. even ronald reagan wanted to treat capital gains more like income. its pointless to bring up reagan to conservatives anymore though.
