bought a pbrack pack, way too much bounce


im ready to find a back that doesn't fly all over the place when i run. are the Dye packs worth the extra coin? which one of their packs are "better"?
what about critical?

im a pretty skinny guy and i roll 4 pods in game, will be wearing much more next season so i need a decent pack thatl stay solid when i need to bust out for longer runs.

just looking for input.

Adding pods is just going to make it worse. I have found that the position of the pack makes a difference. I have used a dye attack pack, empire and nxe packs and I prefer the nxe. My son wears his pack a little higher, with the bottom of the pod right at his belt line...I prefer my pack a little lower so I don't have to reach up any farther...but with my pack risking more in by hips it bounces a bit when I run. You have to experiment.

My personal favorite is the Attack Pack Pro. Like tonycon said... I wear my back up around my waist/stomach and never experience any kind of "bounce"

The extra padding around the pods adds more stability and gives you a slightly better chance of catching a bounce off of the pack as well.

IMO... its the best pack out there.

I had a dye pack for like 7 years and thought it was that line that was awesome and refused to switch. I started playing tournaments and I needed something better so I got the new dye attack (i believe its the attack, the one with the minimizing profile) and it felt just as good as my last dye pack. I highly doubt I will buy any other company pack ever again.

I have a Sly Pro-Merc 3+4 now. I like it because it has a 'hard' back, so it stays secure and doesn't move side to side at all. Also has 3 over under belts so it stays in place.

It's a little heavier than other packs I've used, but it's built like a tank. I would check it out.

I get the pack bounce as well with my empire hinge pack. Its on the the liquid packs so it has a ridig back. Thats what makes it bounce. Its has a preformed curved shape to it. I picked up one of the new empire breed packs. The cheap all black or camo ones. And they work alot better for me. Stays tighter cause it forms to my body rather than having a preformed shape
