its never too soon IMO. she was my mom's cousin so she was like 53 but she was cool as **** and that is still young. it sucks but **** happens and there is not much you can do when you find out you have that kind of cancer. |

My best friend's mom literally just passed from pancreatic cancer last week, she's been miserable for a long time so he said it's almost comforting.

Mostly guys I watch football with or were my dad's friends first but I moved into their peer group.

I have a friend of the family in the process of his body failing him on all fronts. He's my dads best friend and a great friend to our family. He was our lawyer for years and one of the best people we've ever met. He's a month, maybe less from passing, and his body is just failing him all around. Heart, liver, lungs....the results of smoking/drinking/not taking care of your body for years and years on end. Super sad, he's throwing a "going away party" this saturday at newport yact club in RI. Dudes a boss, he's loaded beyond loaded (his dad patented the phillips head screw pattern) and the mans been more generous then anyone I've ever met. Its going to be extremely difficult to lose someone whos given so much to me before I was able to give back to him.
