If you could only take one marker from your collection to the afterlife "lol" which would you take?
Also if you had to chose only one for a big tournament which one would you go with?
Ah, the paintball connoisseurs most dreaded question.
I'm a little surprised it hasn't been asked yet, but from you, 711, I wouldn't have expected anything less.
To answer the first question, I think it may be obvious that I honestly have no idea. If (and only if) I could narrow it down to only a few keepers, I'm sure my collection would be much much smaller. But alas....
As for the second question, that would depend on format. Tournament speed ball type formats where air fills are closely at hand, I would probably take a Matrix- something I don't mind getting a little dirty and is super smooth because of being well broken in, like the Flagged Ironmen Prototype. I would say I prefer spool valves overall by a very small margin.
Big games where air isn't as handy and require only a few drops of oil would probably warrant a Viking or Excal.
In a perfect world, I'd have one of each in my gearbag for every day I play, a Viking, Excalibur, Autococker, and Matrix. Lately it's been an Autococker. I find myself slowly breaking away from the whole 'accuracy by volume' mindset.
And it's a lot easier on the wallet now that I'm no longer sponsored for paint.
