Exactly....
Considering the DC stats still aren't out I doubt we will ever see Vegas ones.
Plus I heard from a few players that they didn't even have chips in their guns and no one said anything to them. So I'm not sure if they were even monitoring them :/ |

chips = $300-500 increase for every team and Id's = $60 and never checked and many never even got?
2 major problems right there.

Yeah I never got my ID checked or heard of them monitoring chips, even in our Sunday games. Just a great way for us to waste money and them to make as much as possible. Oh well, I still had fun  |

Might try contacting Virtue since they are the ones who produced the chips, provided the computers and staff to collect the data, and are the ones who own the website that the stats are published on... Instead of coming on to an internet forum and whining...

The chips were just another way for the NPPL to rip people off and it wasnt even a priority as i know not everyone had a chip in their guns. The NPPL needs to change fast as they are losing teams and fans to the PSP. |

The chips are the same as what the PSP uses and will be required for all divisions in the PSP if not in 2013 then 2014. So no, they were not something the NPPL just did to spite you and cost you more money.
The program could have been managed better, I do agree on that point.

I dont think you get what I was trying to say, The NPPL ripped people off on the chips by making us buy them when they didnt even care or enforce that rule. Which made it pointless and a waste of $60. |

He is 100% right.. NPPL doesn't have control over the stats. I'm sure NPPL is just as pissed as everyone else that the stats aren't up

That's absolutely 100% not true.
PSP required pro teams to have the chips for the 2012 season. We were curious as to whether these chips could help with statistical enlightenment for the webcast audience and a possible training tool for the teams.
And being that we were mandating their use by the pro teams, PSP bought the chips and gave them to the pro teams at no charge.
As a side note, once the pro players decided to sell the chips we provided to other people, we did make them get replacement chips at their own expense.
I have no idea what any other league did with chips or why. But that's what we did this year, that's why we did it this year, and that's how we did it.
Now it's possible that I have been fired, Kazer has taken over, and he is now calling the shots and has made this decision. If so, I apologize for the insubordination and would like to meet and discuss my future involvement in PSP. |
