Nope. Something tells me we won't see this one until the Friday/Saturday before the event. Besides, you're better off putting your team(s) through the ropes and getting them all prepared for some long points and make sure everyone's mechanics and skills are up to par. You've only got four guaranteed games, you have to make them count.
If you don't know the layout, start rolling:
-2/3 vs. 5 zone drills
-race to 50
-running and shooting with BOTH HANDS
-laning(because a 3 vs 5 is easier to win than a 5 vs 5)
What not to do:
-snapshooting (Important, but can take a back seat to the things above)
-lots of points (Don't really teach you anything, nor help you improve on anything. Your team is already playing well together, you've made it this far, so now start fine tuning the players within the unit.)
Just a few things we did/didn't do last season to help prepare and were instrumental for us. Hell, these are just basics that should be worked into every practice.
Good luck to all who are competing and see everyone in Rock Hill in twelve days to crown the season Champs!
