eXTCy air leak. Please help!

My son has not had one problem with this marker until now. The air is leaking in the breach as soon as I turn the air on through the ASA. Don't know how to fix it. Is it just o-rings on the bolt/bolt guide? Or, do I have to open up the reg and figure out what is wrong there (replace the o-rings)? No leaks elsewhere. Thanks for the help in advance.

try checking the bolt o-rings and the o-rings on the bolt stop. make sure they are lubed correctly and aren't torn.

Thanks for the suggestions. Replaced all o-rings and properly lubed the bolt, bolt stop, and bolt sleeve. Still no luck. Air is still leaking in the breech as soon as I turn the air on.

Absolutely, Reactor. It's gotta be something simple. I am willing to take the breech apart. I'll let you know what steps I tried and if was successful.

Leaking down the barrel can only be attributed to four orings.

1 - Sail oring. Biggest oring on the bolt. Sail pressure leaks around the sail and through the bolt face.

2 - Breech oring. Green one inside the breech just behind the feedneck. Usually people forget to lube this one. Sail pressure leaks past the bolt. If you plug the bolt face with your finger and the leak persists, then this is most likely the culprit.

3 - Inner bolt stop oring. Firing chamber pressure leaks past the bolt stop and through the bolt.
4 - Outer bolt stop oring. Firing chamber pressure leaks past the bolt stop and through the bolt.

Reactor, Dedlock, Chiumanfu, it seems that the air is not leaking down the barrel. it is not even leaking in the breech. After running the air with the breech and the grip frame detached, I noticed that the air was actually coming out of the solenoid. Air is coming out on all directions. I'll probably have to send it in or get a new solenoid.

Thanks for all the help.

You probably have a cracked solenoid. If you trust yourself taking it apart, you can see the crack inside of the top part next to where the screws go into it.

Make sure it's not a loose banjo or hose.

Make sure your reg is set for ~100psi. If you over pressure the marker, the solenoid will leak from the armature seal and the hoses.

replaced breach o-ring, was unscathed and fine but did anyway for good measure. Issue was solved by replacing the o-ring nearest the face of the bolt with a smaller o-ring. Techt seems to have sent the incorrect size for it and I solved the matter using an older o-ring kit. To fit snugly against the inner breach chamber the first o-ring must be slightly less thick than the following o-ring on the head of the bolt. I believe the first is a 16 in size and the larger is a 2mm x 16

Glad you got it fixed up.

Just FYI, the fore-most oring on the bolt is a bumper used to prevent the bolt from banging into the breech. It is not a dynamic seal. It should be an 015-90 durometer, urethane
