Dye Lube Performance issues
My gun stops cycling after about a case and afterwards i'll I have to take the bolt apart and relube everything, where it will work again, then the cycle repeats itself after another 2000 shots. I am thinking of just using my Techt Gun sav, though I don't want to if It can be avoided. Anyone experience this or have any advice? I just tried relubing the spool and used extra lube on the orings within the can and also on the moving part of the bolt. I'll test this weekend to see if the gun stops cycling again after 2000 shots. If it does then ima gonna b pizzed. What gives. BTW if you're wondering, It's Bwing, didn't touch it after the mod and it has no spacer with a blue bolt tip.

As paint hore asked,
have you tried a different lube maybe?
im not a big fan of the stock dye lube, it tends to freeze in the winter. also be a little generous with lubing the NT a pea sized blob of lube per o-ring and work it in
i think it might be a lack of lube or the air flow tip isnt seated properly try reseat the airflow and make sure when sliding the bolt back on the bottom base of the bolt is touching the base of the shaft.

Replace the battery, check your dwell. If these are ok it could be your Hyper3, solenoid, or air channels in the body. All of which I recommend letting a Dye Tech look at.

I noticed dye lube evaporates quickly I am gonna try using a little more lube first n see how it goes. What lube do you use?

Well there is your problem. Use 9 and see if the same thing happens. I know Billy set it but that doesnt mean anything as conditions change and temps will also make a difference.
I use 10

It's so consistent over the chrono and efficient, though I guess another millisec. won't hurt to help. I still wanna try what I did with the lube, and I'll repost on sunday after I shoot a wad of paint out of this gat. Thanks.

CMDRSUDS, That Pathogen super grease looks legit, though I might want to hold out until for now.

None of my nts needed a lot of lube. Orings looking wet was all it took.

And in the NT if you use lots of lube it will go everywhere on the bolt specially on the path of the air that shoots the ball - therefore you will be NOT shooting straight because you´re going to have lube on the eyepipe, on your barrel, etc..
Actually, when I do maintenance on my gun before a important match or event, I relube everything, put the bolt back in the gun, remove the eyepipe and dry fire a bit, then I remove the bolt again and wipe the excess of lube that will appear in some places.

I lube well and often then again I clean my NT 11 after every time I am done playing. Ill wait till sat evening to lube if i play on sunday. Also the operating pressure of the gun. Dwell i have my NT 11 on stock with the green flow and green spacer. My lube of choice is Dow 33 Lite Molykote. It is aircraft grade and excellent. Also my battery of choice is the Advanced Lithium Engerizer battery they are so worth it. As long as everything is clean and fresh and working with in tolerances you should be cool. Like PedroBR said his routine is good to follow. I mean really is it that big of a hassle to lube after a case of paint. I would rather spend 10 mins cleaning my gun before a tourney then blow it and have a gun down during one.

try using some special lube i like to call the Strictly Paintball Gun lube. you will see a reduction in kick, increase in efficiency by at least 1 pod, and more consistency in velocity fluctuation ( we tested dye matric and NT markers to be around +-2 fps change per shot and in ropes). also helps with any bolt friction. put enough on that it looks lubed but not too much that it looks like a mess. a little goes a long way with this stuff. Also, make sure you arent pushing lube into any of the air holes on the bolt assembly.
