I have used the Anderson, IN Motel 6 several times for events at Whiteriver paintball. This time though, my experience was not so good. I booked the room 3 months in advance for a great rate. When checking out, they adjusted my rate up to $35 above reservation price. Org price was $108 with tax, and they charged $146.

I called and talked to the owner and he said 'sorry, but the rates went up since you made you're reservation. The price stands. Thanks.'

I for one will not stay there again over this. As I believe that when a reservation is made, and a price quoted, that is what you should pay.

Most of the Motel 6's are franchises. You might try contacting Motel 6's corporate office and let them know of your complaint. If you made the reservation through their website, they might be able to fix the issue. You can contact their guest relations department via their website.

Was sent a survey, filled it out. Owner sent me a email. Did not fix the price. Only offered a 10% discount off of regular prices. I get more than that from the American Legion. Will either camp or use a different hotel.

I called today and see what they would do for me on a room for rise of the dragon in 2+ weeks. got a rude staff member and no help. so much for the promissed 10% off. guess I will give my business to some one else.

why would you go to white river anyway....i just cant fork out 90 bucks for a case of paint, no matter how big an event is

I paid $70 for an event case this spring

I am a member, so i always pay $65. Paint might be more, but they include air. No extra fee for it like most other places.
