League T-shirts

Fellow SEPS players:
I really like this league and have made some great friends by participating in it. To help promote the league and the member teams of it I am looking at having a T-Shirt designed that includes the SEPS logo and the logos of the teams that play in it.

What we could do is set up a seperate fund that would require a payment before the shirts are ordered. If your team doesn't pay, then your team would not be included in the design. Every team that would pay the fee would be enititled to having their logo put on the shirt and would receive 5 free t-shirts for your players. Additional shirts could be purchased (at a discount) at the time of the order if you want more for additional players, pit crew, family, etc.

This isn't being designed as a big revenue maker for the league it would be more of a promotion tool for the league and it's teams. We would probably need about 10 teams to commit and pay in order to make it work. If we set up the fund and some teams pay but not enough to place the order we would refund the money.

This is the very early planning stages right now. I don't have any specific numbers yet or a design. I am just trying to find out if there is enough support for this idea to pursue it further. I would estimate the cost would be $100 per team.

Would your team be in favor of and be willing to pay for league Shirts?
Only one member of each team needs to vote, please state your name and team you are representing in a post after you vote.

I'd get a few. One or two to wear and one or two as an under jersey.

I like the idea but at 100 for 5 shirts I think that's a lot. You can get shirts made for around 5-6 depending on number ordered.

TrueBallers in interested also. I don't think 100 bucks is bad... it's twenty bucks per player. I've put together large tshirt orders before... The person putting it together and designing it has to go through enough hassel to get it done.. Thanks for being willing to put something together Dave.

I would love the opportunity to help you guys out with making shirts if you don't have someone and/or don't want to have a high minimum to meet.

Leadfood actually just did a t-shirt for me this week for World Cup. I got with her last week on a design and I had the shirt yesterday afternoon. She did an EXCELLENT job on the shirt and was a joy to work with. I highly recommend her work. She's out to make sure that paintball crews such as ourselves get quality work that we can be proud of and show off... AND shes a baller.. Why not help out those folks who love to shoot at folks as we do? Check her work out!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. However, just to be clear:

1. The cost is just an estimate but I also do not think it is high.

2. I am hoping to make a really nice shirt using an american made T-shirt.

3. Whatever profit might be made on I am not planning on getting any of it. I want this league to prosper, so the profit if any, would go back to the league. Maybe it can be used to pay refs, promote the league, improve prize money, etc.

4. I would love to work with someone (leadfoot) who is a baller as long as they can do the work and do it well. We may want a lot of colors based on the number of logos that would be put on it. That would make the cost go up quite a bit for screen charges. We will see.

Again, don't get to worried about the details yet, as I don't really have much myself. This thread is just a preliminary interest survey. Thanks everyone for the input thus far and for the support of the idea.
