Written by active U.S. Tier 1 Operators while deployed overseas and inspired by real world threats, Medal of Honor Warfighter™ delivers an aggressive, gritty, and authentic experience that puts gamers in the boots of today’s most precise and disciplined warrior. Medal of Honor Warfighter is an up close and personal look at today’s battlefield and the fight against the ongoing global terror threat.
Following on the heels of 2010’s Medal of Honor that took the game series out of World War II and introduced players to today’s most elite U.S. warriors, Medal of Honor Warfighter takes players out of Afghanistan to continue to experience gameplay missions with a dotted line to real world incursions. This is Tier 1 on a global scale, featuring real world hotspots and international Tier 1 Operators in Multiplayer.
Medal of Honor Warfighter tells the story of U.S. Tier 1 Operator, “Preacher” as he returns home from overseas only to find his family torn apart from years of deployment. Trying to pick up the pieces to salvage what remains of his marriage, Preacher is reminded of what he’s fighting for - family. But, when an extremely deadly form of explosive (PETN) penetrates civilian borders and his two worlds collide, Preacher and his fellow teammates are sent in to solve the problem. They take the fight to the enemy and do whatever it takes to protect their loved ones from harm.
Releases October 23rd on 360, PS3, and good ole PC.

Not pre-ordering. The last MoH was absolutely awful, and they just left it after release. I'll wait to see what some other people say about it first.

Bold part caught my attention. I plan on getting this.

They tried to emphasize that one on the first one, claiming it was super realistic and based on true events by tier 1 operators in afghanistan. It really wasn't very realistic; I liked the online though I just wish they would have supported it more.

Last one was decent, campaign was pretty cool. But multi, at least on xbox, sucked. In 2 months I heard 1 other person talking on my team. Probably won't buy this one, BF3 is ftw right now
New trailer makes me cautiously optimistic. If for no other reason than it looks amazing in Frostbite 2. If they can make a good single player this time I'll probably pick it up eventually. The multiplayer **** (blue on blue?) does not interest me at all.
cinematic trailers mean nothing to me. the last MoH was absolutely atrocious and a disgrace to the rest of the series. definitely one of the biggest let downs i remember in the past several years. the campaign was cool but there's not a lot of lasting value in that.

I thought the campaign was the worst part of the game. Decent story, cool premise but terrible level design and gameplay. Multiplayer was meh. You could tell they tried to mix COD with Battlefield and failed at being better than either of them. Still, as I said, I'm reserving judgement for this one on looks alone. Well, that and the fact that I like to give my fellow man the benefit of the doubt and hope they won't make the same crap a second time.
Even if does turn out to be ok, I probably won't pick it up until its $12 on Amazon anyway.
If they can learn from what they did wrong in MoH then I'll pick this up. I enjoyed the game, it just could have been better. Looks badass though. Diggin the Frostbite 2.0

I played the beta and it's not looking good so far. Some flaws I've noticed
- All the writing in the game is very small and hard to read. Took me a while to even figure out what to click in game as far as setting up classes and whatnot.
- Guns have a default scope like an ACOG or something (3X or 4X) and you have to unlock iron sights. That's dumb as ****.
- LMG's get infinite ammo, and they don't even need to throw down and resupply like in BF. Also when you set up a bipod, there is 0 recoil and the reload time is like 1/4 the normal LMG reload. Seems like it will present some balance issues.
- When teammates mark a guy they show up in like infrared vision even through walls and ****. Seems kind of noob.
Good or neutral aspects
- Pistols get unlimited ammo. Not sure how I feel about this yet, but everyone gets it and it's just a pistol so it doesn't seem like it will present too big of a balance issue.
- Tags marking teammates are a lot clearer than either COD or BF, so there's little to no mistaking teammates for enemies or vice versa.
- Warfighter seems to have retained the same point streak system from the last MoH with the option of support actions like intel and ammo. Not sure what all is available here but I like this much better than COD's killstreaks.
- Spawning seems much improved from the last MoH.
The game mode in the beta is interesting. It's pretty much a best of five mode, where one team is defending an objective and one team is attacking. The attackers have to plant a bomb on an objective and make sure it blows up to win. The defenders have to defend and keep the objective defused for a certain time limit (I think it's 3-5 minutes) to get a win.
Overall, decent looking game, with marginal improvement over the last MoH. The major issues in the last game were lack of content (there were only 4 maps for domination) and lack of developer support (the game went untouched on release; each map had like 3 spawns which were all horrible, and there were some huge map and weapon balance issues that were never addressed). So I probably won't be getting this game on release or at all, but I'll definitely take a look at some reviews once the full version comes out.

Last version was basically a retarded version of CoD, and now they have switched to CoD style releases, I won't be putting any money into this ****ty game or any future DICE stuff unless they make a Mirrors Edge 2.
Also, I wonder if sprinting in this one will actually be any faster than normal
I played one game of the demo on xbox then quit because the graphics were atrocious to the point that I couldn't even figure out what was going on half the time. Even if it does turn out to be ok, Frostbite 2 was not meant for current gen consoles and it shows.
1. Gameplay is average. It is essentially Cawadooty with a better spawn system.
2. Graphics are decent, the bloom isn't ridiculous which is a pleasant surprise.
3. The weapon cusomization is actually awesome. Would love to see this system in BF4.
4. In-game server browser is a nice touch after the lolfest called Battlelog in BF3.
5. Speaking of Battlelog, MoH uses it but doesn't require it to be open to play the game.
Summary: Game is average. Nothing special or stands out to me as making it a must-play title. Buy at your own risk.
Agree on all counts. Single player looks nicer than the multiplayer but is essentially Modern Warfare style shooting galleries with far too many breach and clear moments, and some of the stupidest vehicle sections I've ever played.
If they fix it up nicely before it's released i'll definitely drop $60 on it without hesitation. The beta for me had a lot of bugs/glitches and just flat out stupid things that shouldn't happen in a game like MOH, but after awhile I began to really enjoy it.
