Matt's Outback Paintball
Is hosting an Novice 3-Man Tournament on
October 21st, 2012!
The entry fee for this tournament is $75 per team & it will begin @ 9am sharp.
*Teams must pre-register prior to 10:00 P.M. on October 14th to avoid the $100 late entry fee.* Fee’s may be made payable online via www.MattsOutback.com or by cash (preferred) or credit in person or over the phone.

This event will be Field Paint Only priced at:
$50 for Rec. Grade
$55 for Mid Grade
$60 for High Grade (Includes Allstar, Premium, Marballizer and Evil.)

The event has a two-tiered prize system determined by confirming [less than 10 pre-reg teams] OR (^10 or more^ pre-reg teams) by 10pm on Oct. 14th.

Each team placing in the top 3 for this event will be awarded Trophies & Prizes.

If less than 10 teams pre-register by October 14th:
..{3rd}.. place receives 3 One-Year Adult Memberships to Matt's Outback Paintball.
-/2nd\- place is granted 6 cases of High Grade Marballizer Paint & 3 Customized Matt’s Outback Paintball Barrel Sleeves. (Choice of color avail.)

There will be two scheduled practice days- Sun, Oct 14th (the last day of Pre-Registration) & Sat, Oct 20th (the day before the 3-man tourney). These practice days are optional but participation is recommended so that each team can get accustomed to the layout and begin planning their strategies.

sorry for the late reply. Our turnouts for Saturdays are generally good. Unfortunately, we can't give you an exact answer for turnouts and competition until the day of. Your best bet would be to call or to come on by.

I second this motion. Xtreme had a tournament scheduled for the 18th and then bailed on it without letting anyone know publicly. Would be cool if another field could pick up the date

Feel like you're field is not safe for the younger new players that come in after playing for 9 years and seeing mask get lifted up in game and waiting for the game to start and only having one referee on field and even you're refs had there masks off being distracted by the female ballers playing seriously you need to be a safer field and train you're refs not trying to bash you just giving you feed back

Did you report it to the field owner in the shop? Mention it to the refs anywhere else? As for masks getting lifted during a game yes that is bad but unfortunately refs cannot control players merely pull them after the disobey.

Now had you reported your feeling about you believing it to be unsafe to management it would have been dealt with instead of it being mentioned 3-4 days later online

because the season has slowed down we dont see much reason to have too many refs for regular play. There is always only one ref for our tires course. For our woods course we generally have 2 refs, but afain, the season has slowed enough that we feel only one ref is needed for our woods course. In the event that it becomes too much for one ref on our woods course, we have available persons to take up a ref position.

No ref should be taking their mask off on the field and no players should be taking their mask off. Unfortunately we can't control all players. Refs can only do their best to enforce the safety rules.

If there is ever any concern or complaint, always take it up with management. Visit the shop and make a comment or ask for Tom or Rebecca. the sooner, the better.

What day did you come by that caused these concerns? What course were you playing on where a cause for concern arose? This information will better help us narrow down who we need to speak to and where we need to work on.

the last event had no females playing it, sadly and i dont see as how that would effect a ref's need to adjust his mask. also there were at least 6 refs on the field at all times. anyone who took a mask off was warned, and that only involved one team in the second game. again this isnt something that can be controled until it happens, and it was mentioned during the captains meeting. mistakes happen and for a novice/rookie 3 man, these things need to be taken into consideration.

a few things i do notice on your behalf is though you do claim to be a player for over 9 years your profile is 4 months old, you have a total of 5 posts and "0" feedback. although you cant please everyone i'm at least happy to see that a majority of those involved had a great time and are already showing interest in the next event.

i feel the need to say that an account age and number of posts dont make a players experience. I've met many players who have played for years that have never heard of the nation. Also, this person never stated if the concerns were at the event or not.

So rookie division and novice division this time. Maybe on the 18th of november or another date?
Prizes could be the same or slightly different but with time and temperature against us we need to know fast so post up and ask your friends if u want this

November 18th is the fox 4 xball event and based off what I heard neu is planning on playing and I know me the guys from the bang bro's and my team were planning on playing so I don't think the 18th is a good week.
