How many different NCPA Badges are there?
There are currently three badges: a player badge, a high school regional champions badge, and a Nationals Champs badge.
Who can get a player badge?
NCPA Player badges are available for any person that has played an NCPA event.
Who can get a championship badge?
Why, those who have played on a championship team, of course!
Can staff members of teams receive a badge as well?
No, only those who are rostered as players on a team can receive badges. They are player badges after all.
I'm signed up for an event next month, can I have my badge now?
You will receive your badge once you have participated in an event, not before.
What if I'm and older player, from before 2004?
If you have played an NCPA event prior to 2004 and aren't seeing your badge, please e-mail
ncpa@college-paintball.com with your name, PbNation screen name, and APPA Player ID, so we can set you up for your badge. Before e-mailing, please make sure that you have completed the steps in the 'How do I ge t my badge(s)' section.
How do I get my badge(s)?
You will need to link your APPA Player account and your PbNation player account.
- Start by going into your user CP on PbNation, and clicking on the 'Edit Profile' option (link). Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and enter your APPA player ID number here. Be sure to submit the changes here.
- After you have submitted your APPA ID number, follow the the link out to APPA (link). Once you've logged into your player profile, you should get a message saying that your accounts have been linked.
- Once that is done, it will take between 1 and 24 hours for the systems to sync and get you your badge. You will see the badge in the 'Edit Badges' section of your player profile (link).
My badge shows up in the 'Edit Badges' section, but is not displayed in my posts. What happened?
PbNation limits users to showing only four badges at a time (six if you are an
Annual Supporting Member). You may need to deselect a badge to get your NCPA badge to show up.
I should have a championships badge, but it's not showing up in the Badges Control Panel. Why is that?
If you were a player on a championship roster and your badge isn't showing up, please e-mail
ncpa@college-paintball.com with your name, player ID, and the team/year that you played on, and we will look into the issue.
Can we have a (coaching|season champs|other) badge?
At the current time, there are no plans to offer any additional badges.
