[quote=ProMod;76979762]I have the exact same tank reg that you do. I just pulled out all of the shims to get the output pressure to 440

correct:^ when referring to the Ninja Pro-series reg pressure adjustments.
Pro series regs use 3 silver shims that are made specifically for the 4 different output pressure settings, 0 shims 450psi / 1 shim 550 Mp / 2=700psi
3=820psi.
Note: Use Only the shims provided with Pro series regs for desired output pressures, do Not Add or use shims from any other systems.

Yes: When referring to the Ninja Standard Adjustable reg. (Not Pro series)
Usually 2 red, 2 silver (these shims are made specifically for the standard N-adjustable regs only.

[quote=ProMod;76981117]Correct. You can leave the thin shims in there, as they're for fine-tuning the pressure, while the large red shims are there for major pressure changes (IE from 800 to 600 to 450)

Agreed ProMod ^ For best results, When using a Standard N-Adjustable reg. we recommend the user leave a least 1 thin shim for proper spring load when running systems at Low pressure.

Yep, just re-register the marker on Machine's website. Should be under the Tech Support tab.

And as for Ninja regs, ask them how to get into the 450 range. I pull out all of the loose shims and that works for me.

I know there was just a post about this, but I want a specific answer. I just got a vapor and at the field screwed in my crossfire 45/4500 with a normal reg. Assuming its normal pressure, it started leaking like crazy! Lucky for me Machine fixes the guns for free and all. What reg should I switch to? How should I set up the reg? Should I just change to a 68? Thanks in advance.

You need a tank reg output pressure of under 550 over 450. Ninja pro regs work great. Read back a couple pages in this thread. Everyone's asked that question a hundred times.

you got your vapor sometime after 8/16/12, there's no way you ordered 3 months ago

Considering you didn't pay a penny for it, I don't think you can really complain about it. What's DLX charging for their V2 cores? Cure bolts for the Egos? BWing bolts for the DMs? how about $0 for the Vapor V2 bolt?

Are you really going to complain. It's extra parts. Wow if you want me to change my post just say. It took a while to get my bolt. I look at it this way you can't buy what you need in case it breaks down on you like you can other markers. I got it they are new. I am just trying to get rid of parts I have no use for. Sorry your getting upset over this my bad. No it did not take three months. I have been trying since August and finally got it in October. That's why I got rid of the gun. If it breaks down or anything goes wrong other than o-rings your kinda screwed until you get your parts in the mail after a long wait.

Ok just did a complete rebuild. The marker dry fires fine but when i use paint bolt gets stuck in forward position and just keeps venting. I just left the field i am going home to break it down but could someone point me in the right direction on what is going on? Works perfectly fine when i drop another drive train in.

Sorry buddy, didn't mean to tick you off. I just hate it when people get something for nothing and then complain.

IMO, Machine's service is slow for "optional" parts like V2 bolts, but they've always responded quickly to issues like lost eye covers, replacement screws, etc. I think they tend to prioritize pretty hard.

Make sure the front bumper is an 015x90. Anything smaller causes the bolt sail to move past the front transfer holes in the can.

Yep, they will. Just head to the Machine booth and ask for the tech. Most likely, Ken will be on duty.

OK got a chance to finally put my Vapor through its paces today and after promods tuning guide and a local shop owner suggestions.. I have owned just about all the mainstream guns since 05/06 and i thought i had found everything i wanted in the Luxe but i am more impressed with the Vapor. Getting a little over 4k fills i was getting close to 8 pods. I got maybe 6 barrel breaks out of two cases.... only issue i had all day. So big thumbs up to Machine for making the best marker i have shot to date. Now make me even more impressed with the hopper lol

Did this and still same thing even switched out the oring still the same. Dry fires fine but when I put paint through it on the very first shot, bolt get stuck forward and just keeps venting air.

I'd be more than happy to fix it for you if you'd like. I run a free repair service. You'd pay for shipping both ways and I'll take care of orings/lube (flat rate boxes are 12.10...tips appreciated of course)
