it didnt come completely off, just folded over on one side caught in the spring, but the tip does feel softer than the spares. no damage

Word on the street is the longest boss bolt spring might smooth things out a bit. Don't have one around, but I'd be interested in hearing what people chrono at with it in - if anyone can get their hands on one.

Also don't know what it does to wear on the gun or anything, just something I stumbled across.

well..I have an Etha that is supposed to show up here tomorrow and I have a long Boss spring. Guess that I can try it out this weekend and let people know how it goes. Does anyone think that it was cause any damage by chance?

Ill be awaiting results on that sprigng experiment. Also Im interested in your chrono readings as to if the spring will allow for same, less, or improved consistency

I wouldnt use an axe spring with the Etha. I did that in testing and it really makes the anti chop not work.

I've been testing with weights on the bolts with no positive gain. Might have to look at tweaking the poppet to get it to open sooner.
