Impulse .50 cal convert?

Hi all, i just got an offer from someone with impulse.50 cal
I want to know if i can convert it to shoot normal paintball like .689?
What are the things that i need to change... Internals?

As far as I know, the bottom tube and rest of the gun is the same, so you'd probably only need a new top tube and all the stuff, like barrel, bolt, top tube and feedneck. I also believe you can just get those parts from Gog, if they still have them.

is this that GI Milsim Impulse .50 cal? You'd have to find 09 Impulse parts which might be incredibly difficult, if you can even change those parts out.

I thought that the "special parts" needed were to convert the .68 to .50...
So, I heard that all you needed to do was pull out a .50 (breech area) part and then it would be a .68. Is this not the case?
I would be curious to find out and confirm this.

Also, if you could take photos (of the parts) and document your conversion...and share them here with us...that would be awesome!!

i talked to GI at CUP they had a few NIB 50 cal impulse's but they wont part the uppers nor do they plan to make any you can buy any time soon. only solution is call GI and buy the 50 cal version
