Damage doesnt pay for their paint and if they do they dont pay much, if they get half a pod in their gun on a refill they are fine with that, if you are like me I pay for all my paint and all my gear and im not a fan of watching the last 30-40 balls fall to the dirt over and over again. In tournament play I do allow this to happen with my spire and I dont really care as my paint was paid for by the owner of the team. I understand the frustration of the spire loading as its a known problem, but in tournament play or someone as highly ranked and sponsored as damage it would never be an issue. For the guys like the most of us it is hard to watch half of every pod roll around at your feet.

Man its hit or miss mostly and much relies on how your holding your gun at the time of reloading and stuff to. Im not saying that every reload was like that. The paint stacks up at the mouth of the speed feed and sometimes it just wont all go in, sometimes it will. Im very impressed with the loader and would buy one again. It hasnt jammed once and has given me zero problems. But in tournament play im not going to take the time to tilt or shake the paint down into the loader if it does stack up at the mouth. Im going to get what I can in there and keep rolling.

Ive had the spire for about a month now. Played in three tournaments with it so far and it works absolutely great. Capacity is great and I had no issues with reloading while shooting. I bought the Virtue speedfeed but I put a KM Dagger from a rotor on it with some modification. Only time gun ever jammed on me was when I loaded a pod with a broken ball in it. Definitely took the spot as primary loader over my rotors.

I love the Spire but I've noticed it "pop corns" the balls when it gets low, which is annoying to me. If its kept well fed this isn't an issue.

This. I have had zero problems with my Spire. It is my new favorite. No jams unlike my old Rotor. The lid is great. Very secure and as mentioned large opening. Makes it very easy to load. I do have the speedfeed and it is "alright". It looks great and is really a nice speedfeed but it does not hold paint in as well as feeds like the Exalt. If you shake it you will lose paint. Other than that is is great.

I use mine for woodsball only so dont use any speed feed. I love mine, have had no jams unlike the rotor which jammed a fair few times and always seemed to be on shots that were most important.lol. I like that fact that it has a big opening, its lighter, much quieter (ideal for snipering) and it holds a true 200 paintballs.

I have sold the rotor and can't see me changing it that is unless Virtue get a few more colours out for the spire because I want a camo one :-)

I love my spire so far! The speed feed is a non issue once broken in, the popcorn can be adjusted through settings, as well as the ball detection sensitivity for slow feeds. If you buy one you wont be disappointed!
