I know there have been threads on this and I read a ton of them but one simple question.

My settings (marker is broken in)
I have a GR-2 and GST installed
Dwell at 14.5 (added 2ms for GST)
VVC 1 turn from all the way out
micro switch set at lowest values

I have a very smooth/quiet dry shot (I know that means little to nothing)

Will this give decent efficiency and consistent shot? I will shot over a chrono soon. I'm looking to get 6 to 8 pods on a 50/45

the only real way to tune a geo is dwell tuning and i have a geo 3 and it only gets about 6-7 pods on a 56/45 i dont think this is a possible way to get a geo to shoot 6-8 pods on a 50

you could try those geo spacers but shot quality will be not as smooth and idk if that will get you to 8 pods and yes i know it says its for revalls but it does also increase efficency ive used it in a geo 2.1

Do NOT follow these recommendations, the spacers are simply to lower your FPS directly, CAN possibly increase efficiency by a slight bit but you will have to turn up your HPR to to make up for the loss of pressure. They aren't meant for a tuning tool.

Thanks for the input guys,
I did dwell tune and was able to get it down a bit 12ms. I do see my pod wants were not going to happen . She is a smooth shot though, I hope one more outing I will get it the way I really like.

Will there be any thread with step by step instructions on how to fine tune your Geo 3 ? trigger settings ect ect

Yeah, that's one of the big kickers with the Geo is there's honestly no way to FINE tune it as you could a DM (lpr) or a luxe (manifold), you have your board and your orings that's truthfully it.
