Zodiac or machine?
I am looking into getting another marker and I have plenty of cockers and poppets so im going to give a spool a try. I have decided that im going to either get a zodiac zr1 renegade or a machine vapor but i cant decide which one I want. Price is not an issue I just want to know which one performs better. Any suggestions?

That is a loaded question and you are going to get very opinionated responses.
I like my Vapor. Machine has been doing test drives all year with them to get them in people's hands to play with.
I honestly don't know much about the Zr-1 other than that they are similar, hence the comparisons between the 2, and it has a different bolt system.

Just got a text from friend saying no vs. threads and i reread the rules and saw this. I understand we are not suppose to put up a versus thread but I have done a lot of research on both markers and just cant decide on what i want to get. I want some actual opinions from people that aren't writing a review or trying to say just get a macdev, a luxe, or a geo. So far on other forums thats all iv been told

Slurps, after shooting both, the vapor is by far better than the zr1. It felt nice in the hands and was MUCH smoother in my opinion. I'm telling you, vapor is the way to go for performance.

Have to say cole has made a wonderful gun and the zr1's i own have not gone down.. require very little work and pretty damn efficient. The vapor i had was awesome it had a barrel kit but for the price the zodiac lnib bnib or used is CHEAP!

vapor is like shooting a luxe just a slicker design the zodiac is a constant gun that has the ability to change between macro line or no macro line if u tech a zodiac right u can have by far one of the best markers on the marker. my friend has a zr1 and plays with it alot this past weekend we played the HRL and the conditions weren't great rainy and muggy took a dive into the the center 50 and landed into a puddle of mud and water got back up shoot like it was at the begining of the day and could play two full points with it before it even got near to having no air. vapors are practicually based of the luxe which do not what so ever do good in cold rainy weather. If i was u i would go with the zr1 because all around it is a better work horse then the vapor. But if u wanna spend the dough of a vapor go with vanguard demon it is one of the best markers one the market and used by ranked 1st team in the world russian legion. if ya wanna do some research go watch some psp match and watch rl vs. houston heat and add the bad weather into the picture.

Almost everything you said is false.
Zr1 macro less only.
Luxes are just fine in cold and muggy weather it's all about lubing properly
Russian legion uses macdev
Demon is an good high end but the top right now are clone GT and geo 3 with the luxe, vapor and others mixed in.

learn your stuff before you try to sound smart. The zr1 has the ability to be used with a standard reg and asa and use macroline, as does the luxe. The rest is correct but also a 2013 demon is right up there with the rest of the highends

So I missed one thing all the others were false. Yes you can interchange regs, but from the factory it is macro less. A 2013 demon may be up there but there is little information or reviews on it at the moment.

The zr1 comes specifically with a rail allowing you to use a macro setup, its one of there selling points

And this is where you just stop trying.... HAHAHAHAH
you my friend look very silly right now....
I have a zr1 once you upgrade the bolt to the 1.5 it is just fine in reliability and a spoole shooting 11 pods on a 68/45... COMEONNN

I decided to go after a zodiac for my trade, Its got a bad rep, and PBN is full of lemmings willing to spread negative opinions based on the interwebs, but from what I've seen, once you get it tuned and happy, its the best spoolie around. Super smooth, super efficient, and it costs less than $800 brand new from a user on PBN, $1k from zodiac themselves
