What cocker bodies are the most common or preferred? I'm just getting into pump play and loving it so far and I want to get into tournament pump play.

What ever body you like the look of, or can afford. Almost any cocker body can be made into a sniper (cocker pump).

My 2 cents? Ergo's are closer to your normal marker, and let's face it, tourney pump play is just shooting semi with your left hand. The amount of paint those guys dump is stupid large.

So not true. I think I take 2 pods out at most. But never pull the second one.

I can shoot constant 17BPS on my left hand.

Speaking to generalities and the new "agg" pump players, not everyone of course.

almost everyone has either a CCM or a CCM'd out gun, a few ppl have MVPs.

There really aren't to many options for high end pumps

This. You can AT all game and not shoot a 200 round hopper empty. Not only that but if you try to AT all game more often than not you get shot in the face.

Pump is nowhere near semi. That's the point. If it were close we wouldn't enjoy it as much as we do.

I think the most paint I used this weekend at pevs, with a ton of people, was only about 150 (Locklid winny and 2 50 rd pods). I was in until the end and got about 12 eliminations.

one of the major reasons is because of the LA Hitmen. Just watch the old OSC videos, it use to be 3-man and most people rocked phantoms/buzzards and the cockers were rock and cocks. the typical strategy was to send one person far to the 50 and the two people would try and lane people from the start box. remember, this is OSC 40 round limit. LAH changed the game because they would send all three people out while running and gunning. they would be at all 3x 50s and pinching out players. I've got a lot of old photos from that that era and you can see most breakouts where people didnt have their guns up (similar to the old 10-man breakouts), look at the pictures today of both pump/semi, everyone has their gun up for the most part. extremely hard to run and gun with a phantom/buzzard. yes, you can set up both for vertical feeds but most cockers are already set up for that style.

Then again most nelsons *used to* come set up for direct feed...

Same, I know I can out-AT a halo B. It's not very accurate at that speed but it's a tight enough grouping to make someone duck in their bunker.

Unless it's a PA gun, I don't think it's humanly possible to out-AT a Halo B; a stock one can feed at least 14bps.
