FTFY.
Ball would have won the overall player of the week if they had one.

My bad, thought that was a given since he's a linebacker. And yeah, Ball had a pretty sick week.

ball looked pretty beastly. 247 yards on 29 carries and 3 td's should pretty much net you NCAA player of the week...
braxton would also be more deserving for overall player of the week for the BIG than ryan, IMO.
edit: i just looked up braxton's stats and he has 5 games over 135 yards rushing this year. he has had some REALLY good passing nights too, although he has had just as many 50% comp nights too.

Eddie used to have 300 yard games so Balls' yardage is impressive but nothing groundbreaking. This on the other hand is.
Quote:
• Became the Big Ten's all-time leader in touchdowns and points after finding the end zone three times against Purdue on Saturday
• Has 72 touchdowns and 434 points in his career, passing the previous marks of 71 and 426 set by Wisconsin's Ron Dayne

His receivers suck. Devon Smith dropping 2 TD's against IU isn't acceptable from what most consider our #1.

well ball is a different kind of back than eddie but still incredibly impressive. i mean, he is like 4 inches shorter, 35 lbs lighter and no where near the power runner as george.
regardless, he is an end zone magnet. i am extremely impressed with him and would not be surprised if he is compared to guys like rice and shady mccoy in a few years

That bow tie wearing fool at Ohio State deserves to be fired for not self imposing a bowl ban last year.

Gee doesn't do **** with athletics. That was all Gene Smith. Unfortunately him and Gee are buddy buddy which sucks. IIRC Urban even hates Smith and had clauses put in his contract limiting the power Smith has over him.

Andy Geiger. Cost the school a couple million in a lawsuit to O'Brien and was runout in '05-'06. Gene Smith cost the school $16M just is bowl money and has job security. Who would have thought it...

He's probably going to cost you a chance to play in the BCS championship too. They will probably beat everyone left on their schedule.

Our SOS is way too weak to play in the NC. A BCS bowl game would have been a hell of a lot better than whatever ****ty bowl we went to last year though.

that Florida game should have never happened and it was just a blatant cash grab by each team. honestly, i was embarrassed that it even happened. schools with the pedigree of Florida and Ohio State should never accept a bowl bid when they have .500 seasons.
of course money rules everything and that is wishful thinking. however, self sanctioning would have probably saved a lot of $$$ in the long run...

How much does Nick Saban make a year?
Edit: I thought Gruden would be the highest paid coach. A lot of people are saying Gruden wants $5m a year which is pocket change to Jim Haslam.
