Remove both red shims. Leave the silver shims. That will get you to about 500psi

So I just got a new black 50/45 and there are a large amount of dimples around the neck of the tank and many more on the body, kinda feels like a golf ball. I have a 68/45 grey tank and there are no dimples at all.
Is this normal?

Hey guys,
How do you get a Normal Ninja Adjustable reg lowered from HP to 550 psi (SMP?)? Just want to make sure before I take a crack at it.
Thanks in advance!

Hi jlewis55. I think I know what you are talking about. I have a few 50's and a 68 or two in my shop currently that have "dimples" in them as well. They appear to be perfectly fine on my end. If you could post a few pictures that would help greatly! Let me know if I can help you at all past this and I would be happy to

Hey man, if it is the standard adjustable reg then what you would want to do is degas the system, remove the set screws and remove the bonnet. There should be 2 thicker red shims in the system, and maybe some thinner silver shims. The red shims are what you want to remove to drop your pressure. Remove one of the red shims to get your output to around 550-600 and you're all set. Let me know if you need any other help man

I have a 12-11-SBM regulator on a 50ci black pearl bottle. Could you give me some more info on the reg? Like what model it is?
EDIT: I took it apart and no shims came out. It looks like maybe theres a shim in there but for the life of me i cant get anything out.
EDIT#2, I was able to get 1 thin silver shim out after drying the lube and using a fine pick. Is one silver shim enough? I'm using it on a Geo2.1. Thanks.

Go to ninja paintball.com and click on the warranty option on the right side of the home page. Read and follow the instructions.

I have a small boob tank that I play speedball with, I'm extremely careful with my gear, but somehow there is a penny-sized circular crack in the enamel on the outside with the flake missing in the center.
Is this something that I should be concerned about?

I need to replace my 1.8 burst disk on my pro reg, and I have never had this much trouble with a burst disk in my life. I started with the 3/8 wrench, and it literally just flattened the edges of the burst disk without budging it. Since, I have tried for hours using toothed pliers and nails through the hole in the disk to remove it. The nail bent after practically bruising my fingers, and the pliers shaved the top of the disk down to a circle. Why can't I get this off? There shouldn't be any loctite on the disks should there? I need this disk replaced by cup and I haven't been able to use it for a couple weeks.

Try a small pipe wrench.

tried that right after the 3/8 but since the 3/8 flattened the corners, it was pointless.

If there is a penny sized circular "chip" and its only the outer part of the gel coat missing and none of the fibers underneath are showing through the gel coat or your fingernails dont catch on them when you run them over the missing gel coat, its safe to still use.

you should use a socket or box-end wrench, not a normal wrench. Depending on how you seat an open-ended wrench and then apply force, it could round out the edges.
If you are going to Cup, stop by the booth so we can try and remove it for you. We'll have the booth setup by Wed. morning.

I assume the bonnet from the body? It should of come with a bonnet removal tool. If not, visit your local hardware store and purchasing a 10/32 machine screw. The screw will go into either of the bonnet set screws, screw it in all the way, then back off a full turn. Then remove the bonnet

Thanks Bronze! PERFECT ANSWER.
5ozofpain - every ninja system and just the regulator come with a bag of tools including a Bonnet Removal Tool. This is basically a 10/32 machine screw you can use as leverage in the application Bronze described above.
