about to be a new macdev owner, anything i should know?
Like the title says I have never owned a macdev marker but I am about to have a gt on the way. I have rly only heard great things about the company but I have always been a luxe guy. Is there anything special I need to know about the gt b4 I get it?

If you still have your luxe, begin posting it on the BST
All kiddingaside, when you get it, spend some time assembling the drivetrain. After 3-4 times you'll be pretty comfortable in future maintenance without the manual in front of you.
As far as before you get it, possibly an oring kit if you intend to keep it as well as the new lube. It's significantly better than their older version

This. Be ready to toss your Luxe to the side. The GT is a superior marker in absolutely every way.

Keep it out of bright light, don't let it get wet, and never feed it after midnight.
Follow these simple rules and you should be fine.

450 would be the better of those two but you would also be fine with 550.

I have used 450 and 550 output tanks with my GT, both work perfectly. I personally would use LP if you have the option since there's no better reason to use anything higher.

SLP is the best option for the Clone. Great thing is that this is one gun that works just as well off 300psi as it does off of 850psi. The lower the pressure the more consistent the gun becomes. That and it is a lot easier on the internals.

Yes a pressure tester, orings and a will to take care of it. You also should make sure all of the orings are a somewhat of a tight fit stock so they break it to the proper size. Mine came with a lot of orings small enough to make you believe they've had 100 cases. I've heard they will be making a lot of improvements on this so you should be good. Right now mine is getting 4 1/2 pods and hopper on 2.7K(cold) with tight orings assuming the last 300 is unusable that is 2.4K usable that is 800 on a cold 2.7 and around 1400 on a cold 4.2

It looks the same but it isn't. You can use dow33 (pe grease) but militia will perform better.
