Painting my Halo Too
so, i got a little bored this evening, so i decided to paint my hopper. so far all i have done is mask it off for the base coat, but i will be updating as i progress. 
paint i am using - http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/
i have masked off the logo, feedneck, and the battery cover grooves so the battery cover will install easy. also tapped the screw holes so i dont have problems later trying to get the screws back in
i have done a red base coat of Krylon Fusion - Red Pepper #2328
to get this effect i cut out the empire logo on a buisiness card. i placed it on the hopper in different spot then painted switching back and forth from the red and black to create this layered effect.
so the hopper is complete!!! heres the final product assembled with clear coat

what would you like in the video? just me painting or more of an instructional? an instructional would kinda be incomplete now since i already disassembled, cleaned and masked already

There is a complete HOW TO in the mask section. Granted it's on a mask but it's the same exact concept.

its actually very easy. the hardest part is covering everything you dont want painted with tape like the screw holes. once preparation is done, just start spraying. pm me if you would like some more info |
