I think they might be giving away a few codes during the stream, otherwise why wouldn't they just use the promocode thing in the lol client.

Just went 29/3/10 with Twitch, I think I answered my own question.
Also, are games that aren't played under the ranked tab still ranked? I feel like all the games I play are full of poor players.

What ranked tab? If it doesnt say "solo que" or "team que" or whatever then it's normal and has its own elo.
I have noticed a ton of bad players this weekend, I'm like 5-0 with sivir in soloque and I was out farming maybe 20 creep every 5-10 minutes; maybe it's just because of all the poke I'm not too sure but that's a bit sad since I don't consider myself a great adc

I mean are the normal 5v5 games ranked at all? There is a separate game for ranked which requires level 30 but Im playing just regular and everyone seems to be awful, I thought it may be ranked since Im only level 5 myself. |

There is normal elo based off wins/losses but it's hidden. If you're win/loss is above 50% you'll eventually get better quality teammates.

there is a normal elo, but its not a very good system till you get about 400 games in. there isnt a way to calculate this number 100% accurately because its based on 3 factors: wins, loses, and everyone else's elo

i dont think that 50% is necessarily true, i used to be about 80 games over 50% and i think im like 2 below 50% right now and about 60% of my normal games are either complete noobs or feeders or afk'ers so it is no longer a viable number. although the more games i play i feel like the better it becomes; of course its going to be all messed up in like 3 weeks anyway

steelseries siberia v2. Ive owned a lot of different headsets(turtle beach, astro a40's, etc) and these are definitely the most comfortable. They are less than $100, I think amazon is prob the cheapest place to get them |

Yea, I'm actually looking at those now. Thinking of getting the iPhone version so I can use them for music and stuff too.
