I was playing today in an NCPA tournament and shooting my axe. It was shooting well all day, 285 +/- 6 and 12.5 psp. About 6 games into the day I got into my bunker and it was no longer ramping...I figured it was probably just something in the eyes...and I was way off. I got my gun pulled that game and apparently it had set itself back to factory settings? It was shooting unlimited semi. Threw it in the bag and grabbed a different gun for the rest of the day. I just swapped batteries and reset the board(annoying eh?) and it seems to be doing fine. I'm wondering if this is common or if I have a bad board? The battry that was in it originally had some good charge in it when I took it out...

Any insight would be great!

what board are you using?

I think it's straight stock. Axe is around 6 months old however it could've been made months before I got it.

There are two kinds of boards used for stock on the Axe.. The older one being Optimus and newer being Shockwave.. Look at your board to see which one you have. The Optimus would reset anytime you changed the battery if you did not do it quickly enough. If the battery you had was LOW then that was the problem
because it could not save the settings you had programmed the marker to.

If the battery wasn't low, I would email KEE and they'll send you a new one. They have great customer service.

qft, they gave me a new poppet, new solenoid, new board, and a new bolt guide all for free. love kee customer service.
