My thoughts
First of all i would like to thank everyone in attendance of the 2012 NPPL 7 Man Paintball World Championships held in Las Vegas. I appreciate the opportunity to meet so many great people. I the love the sport, I love the players, sponsors and fans.
I would like to congratulate all the champions : Dynasty, TCP Machine, Avalanche D3 and PDvex. All the teams showed competetive spirit and love for the game. You are all winners to me.
I have made a promise which i now must unfortunately break. I will no longer be able represent in the NPPL. I will miss each and every one of you. My spirit will be hanging over each field, every players tent and even in the hotels, airports, restaurants and bars where our wild west gunslinger multitude travels to. We can all agree on one simple truth: we play because of our brotherhood and the love of the game...In closing i would like to say "I'm Ed Poorman and I approve this message" Thanks Alex "FreshEggs" DynastY Fraige for the line. Thanks for the memories. Hope to see you all soon!!

none of those things had anything to do with why. I thought the event was a tremendous experience, but i could have even been better. It's not that hard, helping people is what i am all about, i just wanted to do more than the boss would allow.

Ed,
I have alway had a lot of respect for you and still do! I was excited to see you involved with the event because it gave me hope. After playing in this event I believe I understand your reasoning. My only hope is that you stay involved with Paintball! And it would be great to see you involved in another tournament series that I am playing in. You bring validation to things!
Thanks Ed for ALL that you have and are doing for paintball!!!!

Thanks Ed! Sorry to see you go, I would've loved to have seen where the NPPL could've gone since I know your heart was into it.

Ed,
Even though I dont know you personally, I have heard about you. Thanks for what you did for the NPPL. I played DC this year and had a blast. Good luck in whatever you will be doing in the future.
Its too bad that the NPPL is losing someone that cares for the sport and understands the sport like you do!

Had a short interaction with Ed where he went above and beyond to make sure I was being taken care of as a player. Your presence in person and on these message boards was good for the NPPL, it's a shame it won't continue.

no sir, no psp for me, almost the same as working for the nppl, to many restrictions on what i can and can not do. I set my limits and i love doing what i think is the best way to make paintball better for everyone in the world, today and 1000 years from now, don't get me wrong, i know i won't be around that long, so if i pass the ball, someone else will have to catch it deep and they can score the touchdown. Everyone WINS!

Ed,
I don't know you in any way at all and I don't play NPPL, but I read the forums and read all that you do for the sport and it's rediculous NPPL would let someone like you go. If they don't want you go to PSP lol maybe they will have more reasoning.

i want to clear something up, the NPPL did not let me go, i left. We just didn't see the best way to move forward together. I still know that Chuck and Pev, the NPPL main men are truely good people, we just did not agree on how to move forward. I thanked them for the opportunity to serve and wish them continued success. They both put in countless hours of volunteer work to help the sport grow. I just have an entirely different way of looking at what is the best way to do that. Same with the PSP, I believe Lane and Dave truely think they have the best approach and want the sport to grow but I don't agree with that direction either. The sky is the limit my friends, its all in the way you look at it and how to make it better faster. I think i have some great ideas and i want to implement those ideas in my time frame, fast. I understand i will make mistakes but when i do i only hope i am smart enough to realize those mistakes, learn from them, fix them and move forward instantly. We can all get there together. Lastly i would also like to thank JD from the nation for his continued support of this forum. Hopefully you will start to see me all over this sounding board, in the PSP forum as well, I even what to start checking out the other league forums from around the world and with the support of the nation i hope i can do just that.

I thought the switch from Frank to Ed was a step in the right direction. Guess not.

it was a step in the right direction, unfortunatly sometimes you take one step forward and then two steps backward, they will find someone else beside either myself or frank. Hopefully someone with as much energy, passion and enthusiasm as i hoped to bring to the league. Good Luck my friends and i will be seeing you all soon.

So ultimately you cared too much about the customer and the NPPL didn't like that? The NPPL hates its players/customers.
